To create any type of content type on the site you need to:
1. Login on the site as described in Login to the Website
2. Choose Content > add content from the menu at the top of the screen
Alternatively you can enter the URL:
http://antiques.westburyantiques.com.au/node/add/<content type>
eg:
http://antiques.westburyantiques.com.au/node/add/pieces *
* This URL will change once we push the website from antiques.westburyantiques.com.au to just westburyantiques.com.au
3. Add your title and text (see Using the Text Editor in the documentation list if you need a hand with the editor functionality).
4. Complete the fields for each of the specialist information (height / length etc)
5. The price field can be in any format you like but I've been using at least $<number>. The pricing unit field is used if you need an "each" or similar.
6. If any of the fields are left blank they will disappear from the display anyway so just fill in the items you need.
7. Click on SAVE at the bottom of the form (you can click on Preview if you'd like to see what the post will look like before it is published BUT you must then click on Save at the bottom of the preview screen, otherwise the post will not be recorded).
HINT: All content types have a set of “Publishing options” right at the bottom of the screen – if you click on that heading you'll see the following options which you can “Tick” on or off as required:
Published (tick on to display the contents on the website – tick off and you'll still be able to edit the content, but it will not display to the “public”.
Promoted to the front page – puts the content on the front page of the site (NOT necessary anymore)
Sticky at top of lists – means that the post will always appear at the top of listings (such as blog listings etc).
We will arrange delivery of any item.
We would be pleased to see you, send an email or give us a phone call.
